Job Overview: Senior Civil Engineer Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with extensive experience in high-rise construction and basement projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in:

• Overseeing all phases of construction projects

• Managing project timelines and budgets effectively

Detailed Job Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Supervision

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans and construction methodologies

• Supervise daily site operations, ensuring work progresses according to schedule

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve design issues

2. Quality Control & Safety Management

• Implement rigorous quality assurance protocols for all construction activities

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with technical specifications

• Enforce strict safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure OSHA compliance

3. Technical Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and review detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and material specifications

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports

• Analyze construction drawings and suggest value engineering improvements

4. Team Leadership & Client Coordination

• Manage and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors

• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders

• Conduct progress meetings with project teams and clients

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)

Professional Experience

• Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in building construction

• Proven track record with high-rise structures (10+ floors) and basement projects

• Experience with post-tensioning systems will be an added advantage

Technical Competencies
